Restoration Service Qualifications
In the 38 years that Bornor Restoration, Inc. has been incorporated, it has grown into one of the most respected
restoration contracting firms in the area, specializing in concrete, masonry and roofing repairs and replacement,
including engineering plans and specifications. The firm keeps up with today's advancing technology by attending
seminars, testing samples, checking installations, attending manufacturers' applicators schools, applying test applications
for observation, and by checking previous installations for performance.
The firm is often called upon by architects, engineers and owners for recommendations and guidance, and to prepare
specifications for building restoration and roofing projects. Quite often good design practices, construction
methods, and material used for new construction may be totally impractical for use in restoration projects.
It is rare to find within architectural and engineering firms or owners' organizations, personnel that possess the
practical experience in the restoration field that our employees at Bornor Restoration have.
Leonard W. (Bill) Bornor, President, Secretary, Treasurer and General Manager, started with Bornor Restoration,
Inc. in 1973, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in all facets of the business. As team leader of Bornor
Restoration's family of professionals, he oversees company performance and customer satisfaction. Along with his
management responsibilities, Bill is kept busy working in Roofing Sales and Estimating, and serving as President,
Secretary and Treasurer of the Lansing Roofing Contractors Association.
Mr. Michael Cashen, Roofing Supervisor, started working for Bornor Restoration in 1979. Mike is an expert in roof
application and repair, overseeing all major roofing projects since he became Supervisor in 1987. He has completed
advanced courses on the application of Carlisle SynTec Roofing Systems and on asbestos removal. He is a member in
good standing with Roofers Local 70.
Mr. Brian Regan, Estimator and Project Manager in the Masonry and Concrete Divisions, has been employed at Bornor
Restoration since 1977. Brian served as our head Masonry Foreman until he joined our Project Management Team in
February 1996. A proven hard worker, his years of field experience give Brian first-hand knowledge of restoration
and repairs others may never attain. Given this background and Bornor's teamwork effort, Brian has become one of
Bornor Restoration's most qualified consultants. Brian retains his membership in Bricklayers & Allied Craftsmen
Local 9 of Outstate Michigan.
